Guidance is locking onto the idea of the potential for snow in portions of the area Thursday into Friday morning. Most of the snow will be on the light side, with up to a light accumulation of snow possible in *PORTIONS* of the area.

2ND (MORE IMPACTFUL) ROUND OF SNOW POSSIBLE LATER FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY?
Models are still all over the place in regards to a potential winter storm in the southeast later this week into the weekend. Guidance will likely become in more agreement over the next couple days.
Some models develop a low pressure system over the southeast, bringing moisture (in the form of significant snowfall) to the Tri-Cities, while other models suppress the system further south, bringing much less moisture (snow) to the region.

Right now, it\’s way too early to determine the exact track of the system (or whether we will see much, if any snow from the 2nd round), so stay tuned for updates!
One thing is for certain, we will likely see multiple days of very cold temperatures in the Tri-Cities later this week into the weekend!
